“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs."
1 Corinthians 13:4-5
"I am raising 4 of my grand-kids alone. Times are very hard. My husband had brain surgery and was out of work. Harvest House helped pay our electric bill when it would have been disconnected. We were filled with panic and so overwhelmed. The prayer we received from our adviser, made it all melt away. The help with food and clothing has also blessed our family so much. Harvest House has always been here for us. They seem way busier now, but still care and take time with us."
"Harvest House has always been here for us. Food and clothing for school has been such a blessing. The clothing is very nice. I am a single mom with 3 boys. They go through a lot of clothing and grow quickly. The clothing store has really helped."
"I don't have money for the extra costs of groceries and clothing. Harvest House has really helped with these extra expenses and to get us back on our feet"
Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for Your Harvest House
Walk, Run, Skate, Jog anywhere while helping your community
Helping people should be a natural extension of our society, and many people are doing great work in our community.
The mission of Harvest House is to provide basic necessities, spiritual encouragement, education and care to individuals and families in our community by following biblical principles. Harvest House brings hope to hundreds of people each month as we assist them with the basic necessities of life, both physical and spiritual.
In order to improve our services, Harvest House has the need to make improvements to our facility. To help make this happen, we are introducing: Heart for the Hungry, the inaugural "Virtual 10K." This event is designed so that virtually anyone can participate!
What is a virtual race?
It is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, skate, walk the dog, walk by yourself, walk on the road, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or any other activity you enjoy).
You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Run on your own, or with friends. As you run, you can help Harvest House by collecting pledged contributions from friends, co-workers, and anyone else with a passion for helping people in need.
We are asking each participant to raise at least $200 by asking 10 people to donate $20. Our goal is to have 1000 participants! All to generate awareness for Harvest House and the issues we assist with in our community.
